S. Eswara Reddy

Dr. S
Eswara Reddy has obtained Masters Degree in Pharmacy
from College of Pharmaceuticals Sciences Manipal in
1994 and Ph.D from J.N.T.U, Hyderabad in 2009. He has
experience in manufacturing of pharmaceuticals,
academic and in Regulations.
He
started his carrier as a Drugs Inspector in CDSCO,
West Zone, Mumbai in 1998 and has good experience in
GMP, GCP and GLP audits and promoted as an Assistant
Drugs Controller of India in 2009.
He
participated in many national and international
seminars / workshops / meetings on various areas of
Drugs regulations and undergone training from USFDA,
KFDA, South Korea and WHO, Geneva.
He was
invited to make presentations at various seminars and
workshops. He got Best Drugs Inspector award in 2005
and Distinguished Alumni Award from Manipal Academy of
Higher Education, Manipal. Dr. Reddy has been awarded
with appreciation letters from his superiors for
effective implementation of Drug Regulations. He also
published articles in various journals.
At
present Dr. Reddy is working as a Deputy Drugs
Controller of India at CDSCO HQs, New Delhi to assist
DCGI in implementation of various provisions of Drugs
And Cosmetics Act and Rules including Import
Registration of Medical Devices and Diagnostic Kits
and other activities.

H.G. Koshia

His Key
Responsibilities are Enforcement of “Drugs & Cosmetic
Act, 1940 and Rules” & Enforcement of “Food Safety &
Standard Act, 2006” and rules, in Gujarat State.
He is
actively representing nine national and state level
committees. He is Chairman of the very important
committee “Track & Trace”, for preparation of
guidelines to prevent of menace of spurious drugs.
Dr.
Koshia regularly interact with officials of US FDA,
Health Canada, MHRA, DCGI, technocrats, academicians,
IDMA, Chemists & Druggists Association etc. to ensure
a consultative approach towards inclusive development
and growth.
He has
played a pivotal role in transformation of pharma and
medical devices sectors in Gujarat to emerge as a
favorable investment destination with proactive &
pragmatic approaches.
He has
played a vital role in the implementation of
egovernance in FDCA and is winner of one state level
and three national level awards.

Mr.
Himanshu Baid started his career as a Trainee Engineer
with Philips Communications Industry AG. Nurenberg,

A
professional Manager with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Commerce and an MBA in Marketing, C Padmakumar is
Chairman & Managing Director of Terumo Penpol Limited.
He started his career as a Jr. Project Executive and
worked his way up from the shop floor in India’s first
Blood Bag company, Peninsula Polymers Limited (PENPOL).
The company is now established as one of the largest
manufacturing sites for Blood Bags in the world and is
the market leader in India. Terumo Penpol products are
sold in 80+ countries all over the world.
Padmakumar has worked in Project Management,
Manufacturing, Finance, Human Resources and Sales &
Marketing. His areas of interest are Quality
Management, Negotiation and Safety. He is a Patron
Member of the Trivandrum Management Association, a
member of the Trivandrum Tennis Club and a Past
President of the Rotary Club of Trivandrum.
He was
the Chairman of CII Thiruvananthapuram Zone during the
period 2011 – 13. He is currently a Member of the CII
Kerala State Council and the CII Southern Region
Sub-Committee on Skills.

Sarkar

Shri B.
Sarkar joined EEPC India in 2001, as Joint Director
(Finance & Accounts) in the Head Office of EEPC India,
Kolkata. Being a professionally qualified Chartered
Accountant and having prior audit experience in
various audit firms, Shri Sarkar’s advent to EEPC
India as above was quite justifiable.
In his
professional journey, in EEPC India, Shri Sarkar was
first elevated to the post of Director (Budget &
Finance) in 2004 and posted to one of the premier
offices of EEPC India in Mumbai for solving various
administrative problems as well as looking after the
large section of members of EEPC India in Western
Region. He has wide experience in handling various
policy issues and important high level administrative
tasks. He proved himself to be very capable and,
subsequently, he was elevated to the position of Addl.
Executive Director & Secretary of EEPC India in 2007.
With the passage of time, it was an important
milestone in his career, as it marked the beginning of
13 years of professional excellence that eventually
led him to crown the highest Executive Post as the
Executive Director of EEPC w.e.f. 1st December, 2012.
He is also concurrently holding the post of the
Secretary of the Council. Shri Sarkar has been
instrumental in organising various promotional events
in India and abroad.
