Success
again at India’s largest B2B event which recently
concluded in Mumbai. The 16th MEDICAL FAIR INDIA, the most
established multi-disciplinary fair in India for
diagnostics and medical equipment came to a successful
close at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.. The fair was
jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Indian
subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt Ltd.
MEDICAL
FAIR INDIA was held from the 12th to 14th March 2010 and
featured 234 exhibitors from 14 countries grossing over
7000 sqm in area with official group participation from
Germany, China, Taiwan, USA, Korea and France,. Apart from
the Indian participation, there was international
participation from Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Italy,
Russia, Singapore, Thailand and U.A.E.
MEDICAL
FAIR INDIA has once again confirmed its leading position
as the number one trade fair in the medical community.
With 5659 registered trade visitors, the three-day event
and the accompanying two-day conference attracted even
more visitors than in the previous year. 16% of visitors
came from abroad.
The 234
exhibitors who participated at MEDICAL FAIR INDIA
presented a complete spectrum of new products, services
and processes for use in medical field and hospitals. In
addition to those areas which traditionally generate
strong interest (such as medical device technology and
electrical medicine), physiotherapeutic processes and
medical IT in particular were met with increasing demand.
The 16th
edition of MEDICAL FAIR INDIA lived up to its reputation
of being India’s foremost event for decision-makers.
Almost 90% of trade visitors who attended are involved in
relevant investment decisions, at least in a consultative
capacity, while 70% are decision-makers or have
co-decision rights. The visitor of Medical Fair India 2010
could find a complete range of medical items and up to
date information on latest medical technology which
encourages them to invest in latest modern high tech
equipments.
MEDICAL
FAIR INDIA is characterised by its clear-cut
business-to-business profile. The event is geared to the
needs of the healthcare target groups. Visitors included
traders, businessmen and doctors from all specialised
disciplines, decision-makers from clinics and hospital
administrations, members of the medical technology trade
as well as qualified medical personnel.
A two-day
conference was organised in parallel by Messe Duesseldorf
India Pvt. Ltd. in association with the Comnet Conference
on - Healthcare for the masses.
The next
MEDICAL FAIR INDIA will be held from the 25th -27th March
2011 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. |
