MEDICAL FAIR has confirmed its leading position as the
number one fair in the medical community. With 5227
registered trade visitors, the three-day event and the
accompanying two-day conference attracted even more
visitors than in the previous year. Some 15% of
visitors travelled from abroad. The 185 exhibitors who
participated at MEDICAL FAIR INDIA presented a
complete spectrum of new products, services and
processes for use in doctors’ surgeries and hospitals.
In addition to those areas which traditionally
generate strong interest (such as medical device
technology and electrical medicine), physiotherapeutic
processes and medical IT in particular were met with
increasing demand.
MEDICAL FAIR INDIA, the 15th Edition, also lived up to
its reputation of being India’s foremost event for
decision-makers. Almost 90% of trade visitors who
attended are involved in relevant investment
decisions, at least in a consultative capacity, while
70% are decision-makers or have co-decision rights. In
line with these many interviews of the exhibitors
reported that the visitor's displayed a high
propensity to invest overall.
MEDICAL FAIR INDIA is characterised by its clear-cut
business-to-business profile. Organised as a trade
fair for professionals by professionals, the event is
geared to the needs of the healthcare target groups.

from all specialised disciplines, decision-makers from
