CONSOBIOMED Consortium

The Consortium is no-profit and its only purposes are :

• The export of products of associated companies

• the promotional activity needed to achieve it,

• any other activity in assistance to its associates and supporting general purpose and promotional activities which may be useful for the development of relationships abroad.

• Some of the successful activities carried out by the Consortium are:

• Mirandola, September 14th 1999 : organisation of the first conference on the "Medical disposables: production and hospital usage".

• Istanbul, May 11th – 14th 2000 : collective trade of Italian companies orgnised by ICE (National Institute for the foreign trade) at Turkish Health trade show in Istanbul. CONSOBIOMED has 

• participated to the fair through brochures which were distributed by a ICE representative.

• Mirandola, September 21st 2000 : organisation of the second conference on the "Medical disposables: production and hospital usage".

• Dusseldorf : since 1992 onwards attendance to MEDICA exhibition.

Observatory of the Mirandola’s Biomedical District - brief report

All the companies of the district, including small companies are mainly oriented towards foreign markets. Sales increase, due to the growth of the export amount, led to a 4% employment increase in 1998.
